Peach Crumble
Crumble is a very simple dessert to prepare, and you will surely love it once you try it for the first time. The dessert is both juicy and crispy, and it is best when still slightly warm, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of cold Greek yogurt. If you dont have peaches on hand, you can also use nectarines, apples, apricots, or plums.

Ingredients
-
6 pieces Peach, fresh
-
40 g Sugar, white
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
pieces Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
1 spoon Koruzni škrob
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
120 g Sugar, brown
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
120 g Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Wash the peaches and peel them if desired. Cut them into chunks and toss them in a bowl, where you mix them with lemon juice, regular and vanilla sugar, and cornstarch. Optionally, add a little ground cinnamon.
-
In another bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, and salt. Sprinkle the cold butter, cut into cubes, over the mixture and use your fingertips to rub the butter into the dry ingredients, lifting the mixture to make it airy and crumbly.
-
Grease a deep baking dish with butter, then pour in the seasoned peaches along with the juice that has collected in the bowl, spreading them evenly over the entire surface. Sprinkle the buttery crumbs on top.
-
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes. The crumble is ready when you see the peach juice bubbling at the edges and the buttery crumbs turn a beautiful golden brown.
-
Serve the still-warm crumble on plates. Accompany the dessert with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of cold Greek yogurt.
