Peach Slices
A wonderful summer dessert made from fresh peaches. You will need well-known ingredients, and the preparation wont take much of your time.

Ingredients

350 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

150 g Sugar, white

1 teaspoon Baking powder

1 pinch Salt, table

0.5 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground

200 g Butter, unsalted

1 piece Egg, fresh
Peaches

1 kg Peach, fresh

3 spoons Sugar, white

1 piece Sugar, white

1 spoon Koruzni škrob

1 teaspoon Juice, lemon
Steps

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish, sized 35 x 25 centimeters.

In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Cut cold butter into small cubes and crumble it into the dry mixture with your fingers.

Lightly beat the egg and quickly mix it in, so the ingredients start to bind, but the mixture remains crumbly.

Place slightly more than half of the dough into the baking dish and press it lightly with your palm to form the base.

Peel the peaches and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Mix them with regular and vanilla sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice, then spread them over the base.

Distribute small mounds of the remaining dough on top, leaving some peaches exposed.

Bake the pastry in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, until the crumble turns a beautiful golden brown. Let it cool before slicing.
