Ingredients

450 g Onion, young

80 g Butter, unsalted

80 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

0.25 teaspoons Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, nutmeg, ground

1 pod Garlic, fresh

1 pinch Spices, pepper, white

150 ml Milk, whole milk

5 twig Parsley, fresh
Steps

Drain the onions well and place them in a bowl. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and chop it finely. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.

In a pan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in the flour, salt, nutmeg, garlic, and pepper with a whisk to form a smooth mixture. Slowly, while continuously stirring, pour in the warm milk, increase the heat, and wait for the mixture to boil. Stir for about 2 more minutes until the sauce thickens.

Pour the sauce over the onions, mix well, and divide onto plates. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
