Ingredients
-
150 g Butter, unsalted
-
40 g Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, natural
-
1 teaspoon Alcohol, Rum
-
100 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
100 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
pieces Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Let the butter sit at room temperature for some time to soften.
-
Place the softened butter in a mixer and beat it together with sugar and a pinch of salt for at least 15 minutes until it becomes completely white and fluffy.
-
Add the egg, vanilla paste (or vanilla sugar), and rum (which can be omitted) to the creamed butter. Mix for another 5 minutes.
-
Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the egg-butter mixture. Mix well to form a compact dough.
-
Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with any desired tip. I used 1M and 9F.
-
Using the piping bag, pipe small mounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave some space between the cookies as they will expand slightly during baking. Once the baking sheet is filled, immediately place it in the oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes. Be attentive, as each oven bakes differently, so adjust the baking time as needed.
-
Let the baked cookies cool on the tray, then dust them with powdered sugar and enjoy their delicious flavor.
