Pizza Rolls
Delicious pizza rolls that will be a hit. The dough is slightly different from regular pizza dough, as the addition of milk and butter gives it a fuller flavor. This is especially welcome since we shouldnt overdo the filling.

Ingredients

1.5 dl Milk, whole milk

1 dl Water

120 g Butter, unsalted

1 spoon Sugar, white

500 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

1 bag Yeast, dry

1 teaspoon Salt, table

0.5 dl Tomato sauce, without salt

100 g Cheese, mozzarella
Steps

Pour milk and water into a cup, add sugar and cubed butter. Heat just enough to melt the butter, then cool to lukewarm.

Sift the flour into a large bowl and make a well in the center. Pour the milk mixture into the well and sprinkle dry yeast over it. Mix slightly and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle salt over the flour, then start mixing the flour into the yeast mixture with a spoon. Once the ingredients are combined, transfer everything to a counter and knead the dough until it becomes smooth, soft, and elastic. Cover and let it rise for one hour, until the dough doubles in volume.

After the first rise, knead the dough slightly and divide it into two parts if you want larger rolls with more dough, or four parts if you want smaller rolls where the filling will be more pronounced. Shape into loaves and let them rise covered for 15 minutes.

After the second rise, roll each loaf into a circle and cut it into 6 equal parts (triangles). Place a bit of sauce, cheese, and your choice of diced meat on the wider end of each piece.

Roll the dough as shown in the photo, making sure to press the edges well.

Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let them rise for another 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 205 degrees Celsius, then bake the rolls for 20 minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
