-
2 spoons Water
-
50 g Sugar, white
-
pieces Orange, shell
-
2 teaspoons Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Wash the plums, halve them, remove the pits, and place them in a baking dish. Pour two tablespoons of water over them. In a bowl, mix sugar, orange zest, and flour. Sprinkle this mixture over the plums.
-
Sift the flour into a bowl and mix it with granulated and brown sugar, salt, and ground almonds. Sprinkle the butter pieces over the mixture. Use your fingertips to rub the fat into the dry ingredients, lifting the mixture to create a crumbly texture. Sprinkle this crumble over the plums in the baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes. The crumble is done when the buttery crumbs are golden brown.
-
Let the crumble cool for 15 minutes before serving. Serve it with cold whipped cream, Greek yogurt, or a scoop of ice cream.
