Ingredients
Dough
-
300 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 bag Yeast, dry
-
1.5 dl Milk, whole milk
-
50 g Sugar, white
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
50 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 kg Plum
-
60 g Sugar, white
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Cut the butter into small pieces. In a large bowl, mix the flour and dry yeast. Pour in lukewarm milk and add the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter pieces. Quickly knead all the ingredients together to form a smooth and pliable dough. Cover the bowl with the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
-
Wash the plums and drain them. Then halve them and remove the pits. If the plums are larger, you can quarter them if desired. Grease a baking dish well with butter (including the edges), and preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Quickly knead the risen dough. Roll it out on a floured surface to the size of the baking dish. Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to the greased baking dish. Arrange the plums densely on top of the dough (with the cut side facing up). Let the dough rise for another 10 minutes in a warm place.
-
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the plums using a spoon. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes (bake in the middle rack).
-
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the pie cool. Once cooled, cut the pie into desired-sized pieces, serve on plates, and enjoy.
