Poached Pears with Chocolate Glaze

4 pieces Pear, fresh

0.5 l Alcohol, Wine, White

100 g Sugar, white

1 bag Sugar, white

1 piece Spices, cinnamon, ground

100 g chocolate, dark

180 ml Sweet cream

1 spoon Powdered sugar
Steps

Wash the pears and carefully peel them with a peeler. In a bowl, mix the wine with sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Place the pears in a deep pot and pour the spiced wine over them.

Place the pot on the stove. Poach the pears in the wine for 15 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat and let the pears cool in the liquid. Drain the cooled pears.

Whip one-third of the cream firmly with a spoonful of powdered sugar. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in a cup, mix in two-thirds of the cream, and stir with a whisk until you get a smooth mixture. Arrange the pears on serving plates, pour the chocolate glaze over them, and garnish with the whipped cream. Refrigerate for one hour. Serve chilled.
