Ingredients
-
600 ml Water
-
200 g Polenta
-
50 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 spoon Cheese, Parmesan, grated
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
2 spoons Honey
Steps
-
Place a pot of salted water on the stove and wait for it to boil, then stir in the polenta and cook for the time indicated on the packaging (approximately 5 minutes). Stir constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
-
Mix half of the butter, Parmesan, and salt into the cooked polenta. Pour the hot polenta into a baking dish, spread it 5 mm thick, and let it cool completely. Once cooled, cut the polenta into 4 cm squares.
-
Place a pan on the stove, heat the oil, and lightly fry the polenta squares on both sides. Fry the squares for about 4 minutes, then place them on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
-
Stack two squares together and top them with half a teaspoon of butter and honey. Arrange them on a platter and serve to your guests.

Advice
Polenta squares can be spread with Genovese pesto, herb butter, or you can choose tomato or Mexican salsa sauce. For those who love cheese, a cheese sauce will be the perfect choice. For an even more beautiful presentation, garnish the polenta squares with a piece of honeycomb.
