Ingredients
-
500 g Potatoes, white
-
115 g Cheese, feta
-
4 pieces Onion, young
-
5 twig Dill, fresh
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
15 ml Juice, lemon
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
70 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 dl Oil, olive
Steps
-
Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water. Arrange them at the bottom of a large pot and cover with enough water to completely submerge them. Place the pot on the stove and cook the potatoes in a partially covered pot for 15 minutes.
-
While the potatoes are cooking, wash and clean the spring onion, then finely chop it. Wash the dill sprigs under water, shake them dry, and finely chop. Crack an egg into a small bowl and beat it with a fork. Drain the cooked potatoes and let them cool, then peel them and place them in a large bowl, where you mash them well with a fork. Add salt, pepper, onion, dill, beaten egg, and lemon juice to the potatoes. Mix everything well. Crumble the feta cheese into the potato mixture and mix again thoroughly. Cover the bowl with the mixture and place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
-
Take the potato mixture out of the refrigerator and shape it into walnut-sized balls with your hands. Then flatten them between your palms into patties, lightly coating both sides.
-
Heat olive oil well in a pan and fry the potato patties on both sides. Cook them for no more than 5 minutes on each side. Place the cooked patties on a paper towel to drain the oil. Serve the prepared patties on plates and serve immediately.
