300 g chocolate, dark

100 ml Sweet cream

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a small rectangular baking dish with butter and dust it with flour. In a bowl, sift the flour and mix it with baking powder and poppy seeds.

Beat the egg whites, gradually adding sugar, until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites using a spatula. Finally, mix in the egg yolks.

Pour the prepared batter into the baking dish, smooth the top, and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Allow the baked sponge to cool completely.

Break the chocolate into smaller pieces. Heat the sweet cream until it boils. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate pieces and stir until the chocolate is completely melted.

Pour the chocolate glaze over the cooled sponge. Wait for the glaze to set, then cut the pastry into slices, serve on plates, and enjoy.
