Pork Chops and Baked Potatoes
One of those dishes where you dont have to do much work in preparation, yet the final result is still impressive. In this case, the oven will do most of the work, so youll have plenty of time to prepare a large bowl of salad to go with this dish, which will pair perfectly.

Ingredients
-
800 g Potatoes, white
-

-
4 slice Meat, pork, neck
-
150 g Cheese, edamame
-
pieces Salt, table
-
250 ml Sweet cream
-
2.5 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Peel the potatoes, wash them, and slice them thinly. Place the slices in a bowl. Add salt, marjoram, and a little oil, then mix well.
-
If necessary, rinse the pork chops and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Lightly season them with salt and ground pepper. Optionally, rub them with crushed garlic.
-
Grease a baking dish with oil, then add the potatoes and spread them evenly across the surface. Place the pork chops on top of the potatoes. On each chop, place a slice of smoked bacon, then sprinkle grated cheese over the meat. Pour cream over everything.
-
Cover the baking dish with a lid or seal it with aluminum foil. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius until the potatoes and meat are tender (60-90 minutes). For the last 15 minutes of baking, you can increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and bake uncovered to allow the potatoes and cheese to brown nicely.
