Pork Chops in Ajvar Sauce

500 g Meat, pork, curry without bones

1 spoon Fat, beef tallow

1 piece Onion, raw

1 pod Garlic, fresh

5 dl Water

200 g Pizza sauce

100 g Cheese, feta

Steps

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic separately.

Heat fat or oil in a large pan and sear the pork chops on the hot fat. Cook them for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until nicely browned, then transfer them to a plate.

Add the onion to the pan and sauté for 5 minutes. Then add the garlic and stir. Once fragrant, return the pork chops to the pan and pour in enough hot water to cover them. You’ll need about 500 ml of liquid.

Simmer the pork chops in the sauce for 15 minutes, then add the ajvar and stir.

Crumble the feta cheese and mix it into the sauce. Finally, sprinkle everything with chopped parsley. Give it a quick stir, and the dish is ready.
