Ingredients
-
8 pieces Potatoes, white
-
5 pieces Carrot, fresh
-
2 piece Onion, raw
-
5 pods Garlic, fresh
-
4 pieces Meat, pork, ribs
-
1 twig Rosemary, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black
-
3 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into larger pieces. Clean the carrots, wash them (peel if necessary), and cut them in half lengthwise. Cut the carrot halves into approximately 3 cm long pieces. Peel the onion and cut it into eighths.
-
Place the chopped vegetables in a deep baking tray, and add the unpeeled garlic cloves. Season the vegetables with pepper, salt, and oil, and mix well with your hands. Spread the vegetables evenly in the tray, cover it with aluminum foil, and place it in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
-
Wash the pork chops and dry them with paper towels. Lightly season them with pepper and salt. Strip the leaves from a sprig of rosemary. Remove the tray from the oven, take off the foil, and gently mix the vegetables. Place the pork chops on top of the vegetables and sprinkle everything with rosemary leaves. Return the tray to the oven for about 30 minutes. If necessary, turn the chops during baking to ensure they cook evenly on both sides.
-
Once all the vegetables are tender and the chops are cooked, remove the tray from the oven. Serve the roasted pork chops on plates, accompanied by the roasted vegetables. Serve the dish with a large bowl of seasonal vegetables.
