Ingredients
-
1 kg Meat, pork, shoulder
-
400 g Dried plums
-
2 piece Onion, raw
-
1 dl Alcohol, Wine, Red
-
3 pods Garlic, fresh
-
5 pieces Spices, cloves, ground
-
0.5 dl Oil, plant, sunflower
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
1 teaspoon Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Place the dried plums lengthwise (in the center) on the boneless pork shoulder. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly, then sprinkle it over the plums. Bring the ends of the meat together, roll it tightly into a roulade, and tie it with kitchen twine.
-
Use the tip of a knife to make small holes in the roulade and insert cloves into them. Grease the baking dish well and preheat the oven to 180°C. Rub the roulade with salt and pepper, then place it in the baking dish.
-
Peel the onion and cut it into thick rings, then arrange them around the roast. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, then pour in the wine. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, then transfer the roulade to a larger cutting board and remove the twine. Slice it and place the slices on plates. Add some onion rings to the plate and drizzle with the wine sauce from the baking dish.

Advice
Instead of pork shoulder, you can use 4 pork fillets, which you roll up and secure with toothpicks. The process can be the same, but the cooking time for the fillets should be between 20 to 30 minutes. You can also cook them in a pan.
