Pork Roast with Rosemary
You must treat yourself to pork roast with rosemary, as it is an exceptionally aromatic dish that will transport you all the way to Tuscany.

1 kg Meat, pork, thigh

1 handful Spices, rosemary, dried

2 pod Garlic, fresh

5 pieces Spices, ginger, ground

0.5 teaspoons Salt, table

3 pinch Spices, pepper, black

1 dl Oil, vegetable oil, canola

1 dl Alcohol, Whisky

Steps

Thoroughly wash the meat and pat it dry. Peel the garlic, wash the sage, dry it, and finely chop it together with the garlic. In a bowl, mix the herbs, salt, pepper, and a little oil. Rub the meat well with the mixture.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place the meat in an ovenproof dish and bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes. About 15 minutes before the end of baking, sprinkle the meat with dried rosemary.

While roasting, baste the meat several times with a mixture of 0.75 dl of brandy and the remaining oil, and pour over the juices that have collected in the baking dish. Gradually add a little water to the dish. Remove the roasted meat from the oven and slice it.

Pour 0.25 dl of brandy into a fireproof dish, mix thoroughly, and pour over the meat. Serve the roast on plates and offer it while still warm. It is best to serve it with some tangy fruit on the side.
