Pork with Mushrooms

500 g Meat, pork, pork fish

2 piece Carrot, fresh

250 g Mushrooms, shiitake, fresh

2 piece Onion, young

1 spoon Oil, sesame

1 can Bamboo shoots, soaked

1 spoon Soy sauce, shoyu

1 teaspoon Koruzni škrob

Wash the meat thoroughly and dry it with paper towels. Cut it into thin slices, then slice those into narrower strips. Place the strips in a large bowl, season them, and pour soy sauce and fish sauce over them. Mix the meat well and place the covered bowl in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

Take the meat out of the refrigerator. Peel the carrot, wash it, and slice it into thin rings. Wash and clean the shiitake mushrooms. Slice them into strips. Peel and wash the onions, then slice them into thin rings. Place a wok on the stove and heat the oil well. Add the marinated meat to the wok and cook it thoroughly on all sides. After 15 minutes of cooking and stirring, remove the meat and place it on a plate.

Add the young onion, a tablespoon of soy sauce, and 4 tablespoons of water to the wok. Mix well, then add the mushrooms and carrot. Cook everything together over moderate heat for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of water with starch. Stir this mixture into the sauce in the wok. Then add the bamboo shoots and the cooked pork. Cook everything together over low heat for another 4 minutes. If too much liquid evaporates, you can add some more during cooking.

Serve the prepared dish on plates and offer it with a side of your choice.
