Potato Goulash with Sausage

Ingredients

4 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola

1 piece Onion, raw

2 spoons Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

2 pod Garlic, fresh

1 spoon Spices, paprika

750 ml Water

1 teaspoon Salt, table

1 kg Potatoes, white

1 piece Spices, bay (leaves)

0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black

0.5 spoons Spices, mayonnaise, dried

120 g Meat, pork, smoked bacon

300 g Carniolan sausage

Place a large pot on the stove and heat three tablespoons of oil in it. Sauté the chopped onion in the hot oil until translucent.

Add flour and fry the mixture while stirring continuously for 1 to 2 minutes (be careful not to burn the flour). Then add paprika and minced garlic, mix the ingredients well, and pour in water. Stir to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a boil and season with salt to taste.

Meanwhile, peel, wash, and cut the potatoes into pieces. Add them to the pot along with marjoram, bay leaf, and pepper, and let it simmer over moderate heat for 15 minutes.

Heat the remaining oil in a pan and fry the diced bacon and sausage sliced into rings. Add the fried ingredients to the pot. Season the goulash with additional pepper and salt if needed. Cook everything for a few more minutes, then serve the goulash on plates with bread.
