Ingredients
-
1.3 kg Potatoes, white
-
2 piece Onion, raw
-
1 twig Rosemary, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black
-
230 g Cheese, edamame
-
235 g Sour cream
-
240 ml Soup base, chicken, cube
-
1 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a 33 x 23 cm ovenproof baking dish well. Peel, clean, and thoroughly wash the potatoes. Slice them thinly. Clean the onion and cut it in half lengthwise. Slice all halves into thinner strips. Grate the cheese coarsely.
-
Strip the leaves from the rosemary sprig. In the greased baking dish, layer 1/3 of the potato slices, then sprinkle with 1/2 of the onion strips. Season everything with a little rosemary, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the grated cheese. Repeat the process once more. Finish with a layer of potato slices, which you season with rosemary, salt, and pepper.
-
In a bowl, whisk together the chicken stock and cooking cream, then pour the mixture over the potatoes. Finally, sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over the potatoes.
-
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes or until the potatoes are completely tender and the cheese on top is golden brown.
