Ingredients

800 g Potatoes, white

2 piece Onion, raw

2 piece Egg, fresh

3 spoons Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

0.75 teaspoons Salt, table

Steps

Peel the potatoes and thoroughly wash them under running water. Peel the onion. Grate the potatoes and onion. In a large bowl, mix together the potatoes, onion, eggs, flour, and a few tablespoons of water. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place a pan on the stove and heat it well, then add about 3 tablespoons of oil. Spoon dollops of the potato mixture onto the hot oil and flatten them slightly with the back of the spoon. When the pancakes are golden brown on one side, flip them and cook the other side.

Use a spatula to remove the cooked potato pancakes from the pan and place them on kitchen towels to drain excess oil. Repeat the process until all the potato mixture is used.

Serve the potato pancakes as a side dish or as a snack with your chosen dip.
