Ingredients
-
450 g Potatoes, white
-
125 g Fish, salmon
-
2 piece Onion, raw
-
2 spoons Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
4 spoon Oil, plant, sunflower
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
0.5 cans Caviar, red and black
-
0.5 bouquet Thyme, raw
-
1 cup Sour cream
Steps
-
Cut the smoked salmon into four pieces. Peel the potatoes and grate them finely. Then rinse them under cold running water, drain well, and pat dry with a paper towel. Wash the chives, dry them, and chop them finely. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Crack the eggs into a bowl and gently whisk them with a fork.
-
Place the grated potatoes in a larger bowl and add the onion, flour, and eggs. Season to taste with pepper and salt. Mix everything well. Place a larger pan on the stove and heat one tablespoon of oil. Use 4 tablespoons of the mixture to form a mound in the pan. Shape the mound into a circle using the back of the spoon.
-
Cook the potato pancake for about 7 minutes, flipping it carefully at least once. Then heat the remaining oil and cook the rest of the pancakes in batches. Place the cooked pancakes on a plate.
-
Mix the sour cream in a bowl with 3/4 of the chives (save some for garnish). Arrange the potato pancakes on plates and top each with a piece of smoked salmon. Place a spoonful of sour cream and caviar on the salmon, and sprinkle everything with the chopped chives. Serve the prepared dish to your guests.
