Potato Pancakes with Sausage
You cant go wrong with potato pancakes. They are quick to prepare and even quicker to finish, and you can enjoy them for lunch or dinner. To make the meal a bit more substantial, serve a bowl of salad on the side, and a refreshing cream sauce also pairs wonderfully with the pancakes.

Ingredients

850 g Potatoes, white

150 g Sausage, chorizo

1 piece Egg, fresh

1 dl Milk, whole milk

200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

3 pods Garlic, fresh

pieces Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, mayonnaise, dried

pieces Oil, plant, sunflower
Steps

Peel the potatoes, wash them, and dry them with paper towels. Grate them finely into a bowl and set aside while you prepare the other ingredients.

Peel the sausage and cut it lengthwise into halves, then slice it into half-moon shapes. Peel the garlic and press it with a garlic press. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and then mix them with the milk.

Squeeze the grated potatoes well with your hands, discarding the liquid that has been released. Mix the squeezed potatoes with the pressed garlic, salt, pepper, marjoram, the milk and egg mixture, and flour. You should get a thick batter, into which you mix the sliced sausage. If the batter seems too thick, add a few more tablespoons of milk.

Place a larger pan on the stove, heat it up, and grease it with oil. Spoon the prepared batter into the greased pan and flatten it with the back of the spoon to form pancakes about half a centimeter thick. Fry them until golden brown on both sides.

Place the cooked pancakes on a plate lined with paper towels. Repeat the process until you run out of batter. Grease the pan with oil as needed.

Serve the pancakes while they are still warm. A bowl of salad goes well on the side, and a refreshing cream sauce is also an excellent accompaniment.
