Potato Rolls
A simple homemade dish that doesnt require much knowledge or cooking skills. Potato rolls are perfect even for inexperienced cooks and pair well with meat and vegetable dishes. They also go great with sausages and sauerkraut.

Ingredients
Dough

500 g Potatoes, white

1 spoon Butter, unsalted

2 piece Egg, fresh

10 spoon Flour, Wheat, bread flour

pieces Salt, table

2 spoons Butter, unsalted

2 spoons Breadcrumbs, dried

Steps

Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, and boil them in salted water.

Drain the cooked potatoes and mash them. Add a tablespoon of butter to the still-hot mash and mix until the butter melts. Let it cool.

Add eggs and salt to the cooled potatoes, then gradually add the remaining flour. Knead until you get a smooth dough that doesn't stick to your hands. Add more flour if needed.

Take a piece of dough the size of a walnut and roll it between your palms to form a roll. Repeat until all the dough is used.

Boil the rolls in salted water for a few minutes, or until they float to the surface. Remove the cooked rolls with a slotted spoon and drain them.

Melt two tablespoons of butter in a pan and toast two tablespoons of breadcrumbs in the fat. Roll the cooked rolls in this mixture and finally sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
