Potato Skewers with Bacon

500 g Potatoes, white

2 pinch Salt, table

200 g Meat, pork, smoked bacon

1.5 spoons Butter, unsalted

2 pinch Spices, pepper, black

5 twig Parsley, fresh
Steps

Wash the parsley, dry it, and set it aside for decoration. If needed, scrub the potatoes and wash them thoroughly. Slice them into rounds and cut the bacon into slices. Lightly salt the potato rounds. Prepare wooden skewers and alternately thread the bacon slices and potato rounds onto them. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Prepare a fireproof dish, grease it, and place the potato skewers inside. Season to taste and drizzle with oil. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake the skewers for 25 to 30 minutes. Turn them during baking to ensure even browning.

Serve the baked skewers on plates, garnish with parsley sprigs, and offer them alongside a large bowl of salad.
