Ingredients
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
3 pieces Pumpkin, raw
-
600 g Seeds, pumpkin
Steps
-
Cut the pumpkins in half and scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Place the seeds in a separate bowl and remove as much of the pumpkin flesh and strings as possible. Clean the pumpkin seeds as thoroughly as you can, but do not wash them. Then season them with salt to taste. Add a tablespoon of softened butter and mix everything well.
-
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius, then prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread the pumpkin seeds evenly on the tray, making sure they do not overlap. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the seeds for about half an hour until they turn a light golden color.
-
Stir the seeds a few times during baking to prevent them from sticking. Once the pumpkin seeds are ready, let them cool slightly before serving them warm. Alternatively, you can let them cool completely and store them in an airtight container.
