Ingredients
-
250 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
4 spoon Milk, whole milk
-
2 spoons Alcohol, Rum
-
200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
2 bags Sugar, white
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
pieces Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Place the cottage cheese in a bowl and mash it with a fork to break up any larger pieces. Add the eggs, milk, rum, flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Mix the ingredients with a whisk until you get a uniform mixture.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat it up. Grease it with butter or oil, then spoon dollops of the cottage cheese mixture into the pan and flatten them slightly with the back of the spoon to resemble thicker pancakes.
-
When the pancakes turn golden brown on the bottom, flip them with a spatula and cook the other side. Cook the pancakes over medium heat, and once done, place them on a plate lined with paper towels. Repeat the process until all the mixture is used up.
-
Serve the cooked pancakes on plates and sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Top with jam, fruit sauce, compote, or whipped cream.
