Ingredients
Dough
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
200 g Sugar, white
-
1 dl Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 dl Water
-
240 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
1 piece Baking powder
Filling
-
250 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
1 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh
-
0.5 bags Pudding, vanilla
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
2 spoons Powdered sugar
-
pieces Milk, whole milk
-
pieces Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease a rectangular baking dish of approximately 20 x 30 centimeters with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or line it with baking paper. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Mix the sifted ingredients well.
-
Beat the eggs with sugar on high speed until you get a light, pale yellow, frothy mixture. Slowly mix in the oil, then add the water.
-
Set the mixer to a lower speed and gradually, spoon by spoon, mix the flour and baking powder into the egg mixture. You should get a smooth batter without lumps, which you pour into the baking dish and smooth the top.
-
Mix the curd with the egg yolk, pudding powder, and sugar. If the mixture seems too thick, thin it with a little milk. Put the filling into a piping bag and pipe it in a grid pattern as evenly as possible over the batter in the baking dish.
-
Bake the pastry in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Once baked, let it cool, then dust with powdered sugar, cut into cubes, and serve. Offer it with a cup of warm beverage.
