Quick Lemon Dessert (No Cooking or Baking Required)
This dessert could also be called a lemon tiramisu, but it differs significantly from the popular Italian classic in terms of ingredients, so we named it simply a quick lemon dessert. It is prepared in less than half an hour, then you just need to store it in the refrigerator for a few hours to cool well, and you can already enjoy its excellent taste. This dessert is suitable both as a weekend treat and for parties, and it can also surprise guests who come for an afternoon coffee chat.

Ingredients
-
300 ml Sweet cream
-
300 ml Sour cream
-
pieces Powdered sugar
-
pieces Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
400 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
pieces Alcohol, Coffee liqueur
Steps
-
Whip the chilled sweet cream together with half of the powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Store the whipped cream in the refrigerator until use.
-
Wash the lemons well under running water and dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Finely grate the zest of two lemons, then squeeze the juice from all the fruits.
-
In a bowl, combine the sour cream with the remaining powdered sugar, half of the grated lemon zest, and the lemon juice. Be careful with the lemon juice and add it gradually, tasting as you go. The cream should not be too sour but pleasantly refreshing.
-
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream mixture with a spatula. Taste it again and add more lemon juice and/or powdered sugar if desired.
-
In a square glass dish (with a side of 22 cm), layer the biscuits and drizzle them with a little liqueur, white rum, or any juice. Spread half of the cream over the biscuits and smooth it evenly with a spatula. Follow with another layer of biscuits, also drizzled with a little liqueur, rum, or juice. Spread the remaining cream over the biscuits and sprinkle with the reserved lemon zest.
-
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4 hours. During cooling, the cream will set, and the biscuits will soften slightly, making it easier to cut the dessert into pieces later.
-
When serving, you can decorate the dessert with chopped pistachios, pomegranate seeds, fresh strawberries, raspberries, etc.
