Quick Pastry with Strawberry Jam
A quickly prepared dessert that requires only a few well-known ingredients. Instead of strawberry jam, you can of course use any other jam you have on hand.

170 g Butter, unsalted

100 g Sugar, white

50 g Sugar, white

1 bag Sugar, white

0.25 teaspoons Salt, table

2 piece Egg, fresh

200 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

250 g Marmalade, orange

Steps

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Line a baking dish, size 25 x 20 cm, with baking paper.

Melt the butter and let it cool slightly, then mix it with brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt.

Mix in the eggs and quickly add the flour. You should get a uniform mixture without lumps.

Spread half of the mixture in the baking dish and smooth it out. Place dollops of strawberry jam on top and gently spread it out.

Similarly, place dollops of the remaining mixture over the jam and carefully spread it out.

Bake the pastry in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. After baking, let it cool slightly, then transfer it with the paper onto a wire rack. Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into pieces.
