Ingredients

260 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

1.5 teaspoons Baking powder

1 teaspoon Salt, table

2 spoons Oil, olive

1 teaspoon Syrup, maple

150 ml Water

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Make a well in the center and pour in the olive oil, maple syrup, and water. Mix the ingredients, and once combined, transfer the dough to the counter and knead it quickly.

Cover the kneaded dough with a cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes, then divide it into four parts and roll each one out thinly.

Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and cook the bread rounds. Cook them for one to two minutes on each side, then place the cooked bread on a plate and cover with a kitchen towel. The prepared pita bread can be used to make chicken gyros.
