From a baguette, ham, cheddar, and bell pepper, we make small, elongated pizzas that we bake in the oven just long enough for the cheese to melt.

Ingredients
-
400 g Bread, wheat
-
20 g Butter, unsalted
-
100 g Ham, pressed
-
1 piece Bell pepper, green, fresh
-
0.25 bouquet Thyme, raw
-
120 g Cheese, Cheddar
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Turn on the upper heating in the oven and preheat the oven to 200 °C. Cut the baguette lengthwise to get 4 boat-shaped pieces. Heat butter in a pan and quickly fry the boat-shaped pieces with the cut side down in the butter.
-
Arrange the boat-shaped pieces on a baking tray. Slice the ham into strips and grate the cheese. Wash the bell pepper, cut it in half, remove the stem and seeds, and dice it. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and chop it.
-
Top the boat-shaped pieces with ham and bell pepper. Sprinkle everything with parsley and pepper. Finally, sprinkle the boat-shaped pieces with grated cheese. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the boat-shaped pieces are crispy and golden brown.
-
Arrange on plates and serve with a bowl of seasonal salad.
