Ingredients
-
400 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
200 g Sugar, white
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
200 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, natural
-
500 g Plum
-
4 teaspoon Koruzni škrob
-
pieces Juice, lemon
-
pieces Lemon zest, fresh
-
pieces Powdered sugar
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish, size 30x20 centimeters, with butter and dust it with flour (you can also line it with baking paper).
-
In a bowl, add flour, half of the sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Quickly knead the dough.
-
Wash the plums, dry them, halve them, and remove the pits. Cut each half into quarters. Mix them with the remaining sugar, cornstarch, grated lemon zest, and lemon juice.
-
Roll out a little more than half of the dough to the size of the baking dish. Using a rolling pin, transfer it to the baking dish and line the entire bottom with it. Spread the plum filling over it and cover it with the remaining dough, which you have also rolled out to the size of the baking dish. Prick the top dough several times with a fork. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
-
Let the pie cool completely before serving. Sprinkle the cooled pie with powdered sugar, cut into pieces, and serve.
