Quick Rolls with Asparagus and Prosciutto

300 g Dough, puff

24 pieces Asparagus, fresh

pieces Oil, olive

6 slice Meat, pork, smoked bacon

100 g Cheese, Gouda

1 piece Egg, fresh
Steps

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.

Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus, then place them in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss. Grate the cheese coarsely, and crack the egg into a small bowl, whisking it well.

Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into 6 squares directly on the paper from the packaging. Then transfer them to a new baking sheet, carefully peeling off and removing the old paper.

On each square of puff pastry, first place a slice of prosciutto or bacon. Then diagonally place 4 asparagus spears and sprinkle with two tablespoons of cheese.

Lift the bottom left and top right corners of the puff pastry and roll it up. Gently seal the pastry together, then brush it with the egg.

Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until they turn golden brown.
