Quick Snacks from Puff Pastry
If we use fresh puff pastry for preparation, this is a truly quick snack. Since the pastry is already rolled out, we simply unroll it, brush it with beaten egg, and cut it into squares of any size. We then top them with slices of salami, cheese, and pieces of tomato. Bake in the oven, let cool slightly, and serve.

Advice
Decorate the topped squares as desired with any fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, basil, thyme, etc.). Instead of fresh puff pastry, you can also use frozen, but it must be thawed before use. The easiest way to thaw it is to leave it packaged in the refrigerator overnight. If thats not possible, place the sheets of puff pastry on a plate side by side and let them thaw at room temperature for 30–60 minutes.
