Quick Tomato Sauce
Tomato sauce is a basic ingredient in many dishes, especially Italian ones. Of course, homemade is better than store-bought, so we offer you a recipe for a delicious tomato sauce that can be prepared in just 15 minutes using canned tomatoes.

2 pod Garlic, fresh

400 g Tomato, pieces - can

Steps

Peel and finely chop the garlic. Stack the basil leaves on top of each other, then roll them into a "cigar" and slice thinly.

Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add the garlic and as soon as it becomes fragrant, pour in the pureed tomatoes. Mix well and increase the heat to high. As soon as the sauce boils, reduce the heat to medium.

Season the sauce with pepper and salt to taste. Add the basil and cook for about 2 more minutes, then remove the saucepan from the heat.

Advice
Instead of pureed tomatoes, you can use finely chopped tomato pulp (so-called polpa), and fresh basil can be replaced with dried.
