Quick Walnut Pastry with Mascarpone Cream

250 g Cheese, creamy

200 g Sweet cream

Steps

Soak the breadcrumbs in milk and let them sit for 5 minutes to swell. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl, add the soaked breadcrumbs, and mix well with a mixer. Pour the prepared batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

Place mascarpone, sweet cream, and sugar in a mixer and whip until you get a smooth cream. Spread it over the baked and cooled cake. Sprinkle ground walnuts over the cream.

Let the pastry cool completely before serving.

Advice
Instead of walnuts, you can use hazelnuts or almonds. If you dont have cocoa, you can add 100 g of melted dark chocolate to the batter. Instead of mascarpone cream, you can use jam, Nutella, or drizzle melted chocolate over the pastry.
