Ingredients
-
250 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
150 ml Yogurt, plain, from whole milk
Steps
-
In a large bowl, add the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix the ingredients well.
-
Add the yogurt and knead well with clean hands until the ingredients come together and form a rough dough. Transfer the dough to a floured work surface and knead until it becomes soft and pliable.
-
Divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape each into a ball. Roll out each ball on a floured surface into a circle about 0.5 centimeters thick.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat it well (the flatbreads are cooked at high heat). Place the flattened circle or flatbread into the hot pan. When it starts to puff up and brown spots appear on the bottom, flip it and cook the other side. Repeat the process until all the flatbreads are cooked.

Advice
You can mix various additions into the flour, such as flax seeds, chia seeds, rosemary, mint, or ground chili powder. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, and if it is too stiff, add a bit more water or yogurt.
