Quinces are truly versatile, although most people dont know very well what to do with this tart and hard fruit. The recipe for quince liqueur dates back to the distant year 1862, and the liqueur is not only divine in taste - it is said to be medicinal as well.

Ingredients

500 ml Juice, apple

500 ml Alcohol, Rum

1 l Alcohol, Whisky

300 g Sugar, white

180 g Nuts, almonds

100 g Coriander, leaves, fresh

20 pieces Spices, cloves, ground
Steps

Pour quince juice, rum, and cognac into a larger bottle (you can use a larger jar for infusion) and add sugar, almonds, cloves, and coriander. Seal the bottle well and place it in a cool, dark place for ten days to allow the liqueur to mature. Shake the contents thoroughly every day.

After ten days, strain the liqueur through cheesecloth and store it in clean bottles, sealing them well.
