8 slice Bread, wheat

2 spoons Butter, unsalted

8 slice Meat, beef, shoulder

8 slice Cheese, edamame

1 cup Sauerkraut

0.5 cups Grill sauce

Thinly butter one side of each bread slice. Then place four slices on a board with the buttered side down. Now spread the prepared slices with Thousand Island dressing and place one slice of cheese, two slices of pastrami, a quarter cup of sauerkraut, and finally another slice of cheese on each. Cover the sandwiches with the remaining bread slices, with the buttered side facing out.

Place a large skillet on the stove and heat it over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes on each side until they are nicely golden brown. Serve hot. For a side, you can offer fried potatoes.

Advice
Instead of pastrami slices, you can use thinly sliced roast beef, cooked ham slices, or prosciutto. In the original recipe, rye bread is used to prepare the sandwich.
