2 piece Carrot, fresh

400 g Tomato, pieces - can
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
First, prepare the meatball mixture. Peel and finely chop the onion. Rinse the parsley sprigs under running water, shake well, and finely chop. Peel the sausages and crumble the meat into a large bowl. Add the ground beef, chopped onion, Parmesan, parsley, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, pepper, and salt. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well with clean hands. Using wet hands, shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls.
-
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Line a low baking dish with parchment paper and arrange the meatballs on it. Drizzle them with a little oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
-
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic separately. Clean the carrot (peel if necessary), wash, and coarsely grate. Heat oil in a large pot and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the garlic and grated carrot, and cook the vegetables over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, for another 2 to 3 minutes. Then add the tomatoes, mix well, and season with pepper and salt. Cook the sauce over moderate heat for 15 minutes.
-
Once the meatballs are baked, add them to the pot with the sauce. Cook the meatballs in the sauce for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, place a pot with a larger amount of lightly salted water on the stove. Just before the water boils, add salt to increase the boiling power. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook for the time indicated on the package.
-
Drain the cooked pasta well and add it to the pot with the sauce. Mix everything well, then remove the pot from the heat. Serve the prepared dish on plates and enjoy immediately.

Advice
The prepared dish can be garnished with a little chopped parsley (basil) and grated Parmesan before serving. When cooking pasta, follow the rule of using 1 liter of water for every 100 g of pasta. For every liter of water, use 10 to 12 g of salt. The addition of carrots in the sauce can also be omitted.
