Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Garlic and Lemon

500 g Okra, sprouts, fresh

Clean the Brussels sprouts. Trim the stems, remove the dark-colored and dry outer leaves. Wash the cleaned Brussels sprouts, then cut the larger ones in half lengthwise, while the smaller ones can be left whole. Peel and finely chop the garlic.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place the Brussels sprouts in a bowl and season with lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all pieces are evenly seasoned.

Transfer the seasoned Brussels sprouts to a baking dish and spread them out in a single layer. Place the dish in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Gently stir the Brussels sprouts halfway through baking to ensure even browning.

Once the Brussels sprouts have softened and developed a nice golden-brown color, remove the dish from the oven and serve the prepared side dish.
