Ingredients
-
500 g Carrot, fresh
-
1 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 spoon Koruzni škrob
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Line a low baking tray with parchment paper. Clean the carrots (peel if necessary) and wash them. Cut them into sticks about 1 cm thick.
-
Place the cut carrots on the baking tray. Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with cornstarch and a bit of freshly ground pepper. Mix the carrots well with your hands and spread them in a single layer on the tray.
-
Place the tray in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Halfway through baking, take the tray out of the oven and flip the carrot sticks with a spatula so they can crisp up on the other side.
-
When the carrot sticks are crispy and roasted, remove the tray from the oven. Season them with salt, mix well, and serve.
