Ingredients

400 g Chickpea, cooked

2 spoons Wheat germ oil

1 teaspoon Ginger, fresh

1 teaspoon Spices, paprika

0.25 teaspoons Lemon zest, fresh

2 pinch Spices, pepper, red or cayenne

1 pinch Spices, pepper, black

Steps

Drain the chickpeas from the can and rinse them thoroughly under running water. Place the rinsed chickpeas on paper towels and let them dry completely.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Transfer the dried chickpeas to a large bowl. Add oil, ginger, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix the ingredients well with a whisk (or clean hands) to ensure the chickpeas are evenly coated.

Line a low baking tray with parchment paper and spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the chickpeas are nicely crispy. Shake the tray a few times during baking to ensure even roasting.

Advice
You can also cook the chickpeas yourself. Soak the dried chickpeas overnight in plenty of cold water. The next day, drain the soaked chickpeas and place them in a pot. Cover them with cold water, bring to a boil, and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes until the chickpeas soften.
