1.5 cups Grapes, red and yellow, fresh

Steps

Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Place the rack in the middle position. Spread the grapes, vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of oil in a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Drain the baked grapes.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the hazelnuts, 2 tablespoons of oil, and 0.25 teaspoon of salt. Spread them in the baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the roasted hazelnuts from the oven, let them cool, and roughly chop them.

Reduce the oven temperature to 175 °C. Grease and lightly flour a 22 x 11 cm baking pan. In a large bowl, mix the sugar, teaspoon of salt, flour, and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk the remaining oil, milk, and eggs. Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until you get a smooth batter without lumps. Finally, fold in the baked grapes.

Pour half of the batter into the baking pan and smooth the surface. Sprinkle with half of the hazelnuts, then pour the remaining batter over it and top with the rest of the hazelnuts. Bake in the preheated oven for 80 to 90 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the bread; it should come out clean.

Let the baked bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice it, place it in a basket, and serve.
