Advice
Flavor the tea with full-bodied honey, which contains precious natural active ingredients, but be careful that the tea is not too hot. In general, there are three types of medicinal preparations based on how the active ingredients are extracted from a plant: infusion, decoction, or maceration. For an infusion, we use all herbs that contain a particularly high amount of active ingredients that evaporate quickly when in contact with liquids or heat. Aromatic herbs and flowers are not boiled, as heat would destroy the valuable active ingredients. Drink the infusion immediately after preparation, otherwise the active ingredients will dissipate with the steam. For an infusion, use a container made of high-quality glass or fired clay.
