Salad with Brussels Sprouts
Many people unjustly dislike Brussels sprouts. Prepared as a salad with crispy baked bacon pieces, it will convince even the biggest skeptics.

Ingredients

20 pieces Okra, sprouts, fresh

5 slice Meat, pork, smoked bacon

4 pieces Shallot

1 spoon Oil, olive

1 pinch Salt, table

Peel the shallots and finely chop them. Clean the Brussels sprouts, wash them, drain, and halve them. In a pot, heat salted water (with half a teaspoon of salt) to boiling, add the Brussels sprouts, and cook in a covered pot over moderate heat for 20 minutes. Drain the cooked Brussels sprouts well and transfer them to a bowl.

In a dry pan over medium heat, fry the bacon until crispy. Remove the cooked bacon from the pan and place it on paper towels to absorb excess fat. Cut the bacon into cubes.

In the same pan used for the bacon, quickly sauté the shallots and Brussels sprouts over moderate heat. Transfer everything to a salad bowl, add the bacon, and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and oil. Mix well and serve.
