- Difficulty: 2
- Spiciness: 0
- Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
800 g Fish, salmon
-
1 piece Juice, lemon
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
8 spoon Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
7 spoon Breadcrumbs, dried
-
4 spoon Water
-
30 g Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice. Thoroughly wash the salmon fillets and dry them with paper towels. Cut them widthwise into narrower sticks, drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt.
-
In a deep plate, whisk two eggs with 4 tablespoons of water. In a second shallow plate, place the flour, and in a third plate, place the breadcrumbs. First, coat the salmon sticks well in flour, then dip them in the whisked eggs, and finally coat them in breadcrumbs.
-
Place a deep pan on the stove and melt 30 g of butter. Fry about 1/3 of the fish sticks in the well-heated fat. Cook them for about 6 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown. Repeat the process two more times to cook all the fish sticks.
-
Transfer the fish sticks to paper towels to drain well. Serve them on plates and enjoy.

Advice
Fry in a large amount of fat. The food should float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The fat is hot enough for frying when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
