Salmon Spinach Patties
Salmon patties are very healthy, delicious, and quick to prepare. Served with a side dish and/or a large bowl of salad, they can be offered for lunch, dinner, or even as a snack. You can also easily turn them into a gourmet burger—just add a bun, some sauce, and, of course, some fresh vegetables.

Ingredients
-
500 g Fish, salmon
-
150 g Spinach, raw
-
3 pieces Onion, raw
-
1 piece Ginger, fresh
-
1 piece Egg, egg white, fresh
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black
-
1 spoon Soy sauce, shoyu, less salt
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
Steps
-
Clean the spinach leaves, wash them, dry them well, and roughly chop them. Finely chop the salmon fillet. Clean and wash the spring onion. Finely chop the white part and slice the green part into rings. Peel and grate a piece of ginger.
-
In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, spring onion, ginger, and spinach. In a smaller bowl, mix the egg white, salt, pepper, and soy sauce until smooth. Pour this mixture into the larger bowl and knead the ingredients well with clean hands. Divide the mixture into four parts. Wet your hands slightly, then shape each part into a round patty, about 1.5 cm thick.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat it well. Add a little olive oil to the heated pan. Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the pan. Cook them slowly over medium heat. When they are nicely golden brown on the bottom, carefully flip them with a spatula and cook the other side.
-
Serve the cooked patties on plates alongside your chosen side dish and a bowl of salad.
