Ingredients
Dough
-
400 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
20 g Yeast, dry
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
2 spoons Oil, plant, sunflower
-
2.5 dl Milk, whole milk
-
3 pieces Frankfurter
-
10 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh
Steps
-
Prepare the leavened milk dough according to the recipe for leavened pizza dough, but use milk instead of water. Place the sausages in a pot and add enough water to cover them by two fingers. Wait for the water to boil and cook for one more minute, then drain them immediately. Once the sausages have cooled slightly, cut them in half to get 12 pieces.
-
Preheat the oven to 230 °C. Grease a baking tray with butter or line it with baking paper. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface into a rectangle half a centimeter thick and cut it into 12 squares. Wrap each square around a piece of sausage. In a small bowl, beat the egg yolk. Place the sausages on the baking tray, brush them with the egg yolk (using your fingers or a brush), and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Arrange on plates and serve with a large bowl of salad.

Advice
The dough can also be cut into triangles, in which we wrap the dough. If you want to prepare sausages in dough for a party, cut the sausages and dough into smaller, arbitrarily sized pieces.
