Sausages in Dough a Bit Differently
Many parties, both for children and adults, often dont go without sausages in dough. Their preparation requires a lot of rolling and shaping in the kitchen, so this time I present a simpler but very tasty way to prepare sausages in dough that will delight everyone. Simply skewer the sausage on a wooden stick, dip it in the batter, and fry it in hot oil. The crispy dough coating, inside which lies a juicy sausage, guarantees that this will be a frequent dish on your table, even if youre not having a party.

Ingredients
Dough
-
100 g Koruzna moka, whole grain, yellow
-
100 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
1 spoon Sugar, white
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, paprika
-
pieces Spices, pepper, black
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
pieces Milk, whole milk
-
8 pieces Frankfurter
-
pieces Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
pieces Flour, Wheat, bread flour
Steps
-
Cut the sausages in half lengthwise. Wipe them with a paper towel and roll them in flour.
-
Prepare the batter in which we will dip the sausages. In a bowl, add cornmeal and wheat flour and mix them well. Add baking powder, sugar, salt, paprika, and pepper. Mix the ingredients again thoroughly.
-
Add an egg and milk to the dry mixture. Add the liquid gradually because the batter should be quite thick. Mix well to ensure there are no lumps, then pour it into a tall and narrow container (a glass can also be used). Don't be fooled by the amount of batter, as it will be enough even though it may seem like very little.
-
Skewer each sausage on the cut side with a wooden stick, then dip it into the prepared batter. Before placing it in the hot oil, turn it slightly so the batter adheres well, then place it in the heated oil. The oil temperature should be between 160 to 170 degrees Celsius.
-
Fry the sausages until golden brown. Once fried, place them on kitchen paper to drain excess fat, then transfer them to a plate.
-
Serve the fried sausages while they are still warm. Offer mayonnaise, ketchup, nacho cheese, or any other dip you like alongside them.
